The Centre for Erotic Empathy’s mission is to provide sex-positive treatment for all individuals, relationships, and families. By focusing on connection rather than dysfunction, the therapeutic approach of Erotic Empathy promotes well-being through both education and psychotherapeutic intervention. Within treatment and professional consultation, we provide innovative, evidence-based techniques in safe and thriving opportunities for dialogue.
The Centre for Erotic Empathy's goal is to promote fulfilling and sustainable erotic intimacy
Whether you're single, dating, married, or dating-again, it can be a lonely jungle out there. And for most us, erotic well-being is tightly knit with mental health. If you are here, you know that its hard to feel well when your sexuality is not bringing you pleasure.
With 15 years experience in clinical practice as a psychotherapist, I can comfortably say you can't shock me. As you know, eroticism is not always sexual, and sex is not always erotic. Therapeutic success is rarely just the treatment of dysfunction; rather, it is an improvement in the quality of erotic fulfillment.
Couples tend to either avoid or immerse themselves in affection while struggling with their sexuality. Sexual shame and vulnerability are part of everyone's story, yet so many of those stories go untold. Even those who are lucky enough to have never been sexually violated would benefit from sharing tales of momentary embarrassment and tolerated disconnection.
To the public, as well as professionals with a shared interest in treatment, research, and education of erotic connection - Welcome! No question is silly. I am always happy to hear from you.

Taanishi, my name is Diane. I stepped into Admin work in 2020 and it's been an amazing adventure. I love what I do and I love helping people.
You will get to know me well as I work with Amanda here at Erotic Empathy as her Administrative Assistant. I've had the pleasure of speaking with so many of you since I started and I'm honoured to assist you as you journey towards improving your intimate lives.
I am Metis and a proud member of the Metis Nation of Ontario. When I'm not being an Admin Magician, I love to be in the woods, play my guitar, bead, and create art. Most of that is done with my trusty pup Link by my side.
Truly, I wish you all the best and look forward to welcoming you to Erotic Empathy.
Be Well <3

How do people learn to feel comfortable with themselves, know what they want, set boundaries, and maintain an erotic connection with a partner over time? I was surprised that none of these important issues made an appearance in my clinical psychology doctoral program.
Additionally, body image dissatisfaction and dysmorphia can seriously derail one’s sexuality. While working with clients who have eating disorders, I realized that most of them had little to no experience speaking openly about such an important part of their lives. Many told me they had been in therapy for years without ever talking about sex; they understood from their therapist's silence that it was taboo.
I am passionate about helping people lead satisfying and meaningful lives and hope that my comfort dialoguing eroticism, my interest, and my experience, invite you to take a first step towards meeting your goals.
